Eid’l Adha

In accordance with Proclamation No. 256, June 17 will be observed as a non-working day at Our Lady of Peace School to mark Eid’l Adha, a significant religious holiday for Muslims around the world. This proclamation, recognizing the importance of Eid’l Adha, emphasizes unity and respect for cultural diversity and inclusivity within the community.

Eid’l Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham in Christian and Jewish traditions) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. It is a time of reflection, prayer, and charitable acts among Muslim communities globally.

This holiday provides an opportunity for our community to learn about the cultural and religious diversity that enriches our school environment.

Pleased be informed that the release of the report card for First Quarter will be on November 16, 2024 (Saturday) from 8:00AM – 11:30AM. Some students will have their outreach activities during this day. Thus, they may claim their report card after the CES activities. Further details will be discussed

On October 28-30, 2024 MAPSA System-Wide retreat offers a unique opportunity for educators and staff to step away from the daily work.
